The September Issue

An Anna Wintour documentary... What could get any better? I started seeing Ads for the film in vogue some time last year and ever since I have been anticipating the release. It's the real version of The Devil Wears Prada. Anna is my idol, in pre-k when they ask you what do you want to be when you grow up Anna Wintour was my answer. She is the most revered person in the industry, Her middle name should be power. Anybody who truly worships fashion, as I do, looks up to her as their true hero. She is the top dog when it comes to what is in and what is out. She is the one true voice who breaks through all the mush of normalcy and stands clear above the rest. She defines what modern fashion is. So why you might be asking yourself am I starting this long ranting post, well my dears the reason is The September Issue is the most amazing film you will ever watch. I high suggest everybody go out and rent it now.

The Must Have Item: Statement Headbands

This headband is my personal favorite (I actually have this one sitting right next to me..) I know that some might be a little skeptical about buying this at first because of its size and trust me I was too, but now that I have it I'm in love! Wear this headband with any cute little floral skirt or even to brighten up a black sun dress. It completely wearable if you get past its size and bright pastel colors!

2. The Blair Waldorf Bow

Weither you love her or hate her you have to admit you love her preppy rich girl look. Even if you can't work the navy blazers and pinstripes, the one thing everybody loves about Blair's look is her headbands. If you think the big bow headbands are only for 3rd graders, then you are wrong. The bows are making come back, and I personally love it!
